1. Is there any international airport in Can Tho city?

If you are flying to Vietnam, please book ticket to Can Tho International Airport. It takes about 20 minutes from Can Tho airport to the city center by taxi.

2. Can I fly to Ho Chi Minh City, then to Can Tho? How long does it take and by which means of transport?

You can fly to Ho Chi Minh City. A trip from there to Can Tho by bus or taxi takes about four hours on the expressway and National Highway 1A.

1. Which hotel should I stay in Can Tho?

In Can Tho, there are many beautiful and affordable hotels on Tran Van Kheo street, which are close to the Start area.

2. What is the name of the official hotel for the Can Tho Marathon - A Heritage Race?

The marathon's Organizing Committee will announce the official hotels of the race.

3. Which hotel should I stay in Can Tho in order to conveniently get to the Start line area?

You should book your hotel on Tran Van Kheo street, which are close to the Start area.

4. Where should I visit once in Can Tho?

You can join river tours or visit fruit gardens, which are the cultural features of the Mekong Delta.

5. What should I eat in Can Tho?

You can enjoy many delicious dishes such as duck cooked with “chao”, rice powder pancakes, fish noodle, “banh tam bi” (pig skin steamed with coconut juice), vermicelli with “nuoc leo” broth, roasted pig cake ... Especially, the one dish not to be missed is “Lau Mam” (salted fish hotpot).

1. Where are Can Tho Marathon - A Heritage Race's Start and Finish lines?

They are located at the area of Song Hau Park.

2. What are the cut-off times for the 42-km and 21-km distances?

3. Is the running track flat or steep? Is there any slope, how many degrees?

Can Tho Heritage Marathon's track is flat, coated by bitumen. However, during the race, runners will have to conquer a number of bridges with negligible slope due to the Mekong River delta terrain, featured by canals and bridges.

4. Is the track of the Can Tho Marathon - A Heritage Race certified by the IAAF/AIMS?

The marathon's track is certified by the World Athletics (WF, formally known as IAAF) and the Association of International Marathons Distance Races (AIMS).

5. Will the Organizers prepare a pacers’ team?

Yes, the Organizing Committee will have a pacers’ team for the marathon. You can spot them because they will each be wearing a bunch of large balloons and are tasked to help runners complete the race on time.

The running time targets will also be printed on the pacers’ Bibs.

RACE KIT

1. When and where can I receive the Race Kit?

You can collect the Race Kit in Can Tho before the race. The Organizing Committee will send you an email advising the time and place for pickup.

2. As I will arrive in Can Tho at the night before the race, can I get the Race Kit at the event early in the morning before running?

You can still pick up the Race Kit in the early morning of the Race Day, at least 30 minutes before the Start. However, you need to email the Organizers 2 weeks before the race so that they will arrange the Race Kit pickup.

3. When I finish the race, will I get my Finisher’s shirt and medal?

Upon completion of the race, you will receive a Finisher T-shirt and a medal.

REGISTRATION

1. Can a group registration get a discount?

2. How do I register as a group?

3. Why can't I register or pay?

Please contact the Organizing Committee via email for assistance with the registration and payment.

4. Why can't I edit personal information from my account?

5. I have registered and paid successfully, but why can't I see my account?

Please contact the Organizing Committee via email for assistance.

6. I have successfully paid but have not seen confirmation email. What should I do?

Please contact the Organizing Committee via email for support.

7. My passport will be changed, while I am still using the old passport. When I have a new passport number, can I update it?

Please use your old passport. When a new passport is available, please notify the Organizing Committee via email. They will support by updating the new passport number in your account.

8. What are the procedures for changing the registered distance? Is a fee in place?

Please go to your account or contact us via email to change the distance. If you opt for a shorter distance, there is no charge. If you pick a longer distance, you must pay a fee equal to the current distance fee minus the amounts you paid at your registration.

9. My country blocks the link to your website. What steps should I take in order to run?

Please contact us. We will assist you with your registration. Please contact us before the run time when you arrive in Can Tho and pay us directly.

10. I swiped the card twice, so the Organizers are kindly asked to refund.

Please tell us your payment code and your Bib. We will check and make the refund.

11. How can I register to get my photos at the Can Tho Marathon - A Heritage Race?

You can register to buy your photo set at the instructions of the Organizing Committee. The fee will depend on the number of your photos.

12. What is the prize of the Can Tho Marathon - A Heritage Race? Is there any cash?
