Can Tho Marathon - A Heritage Race Relocates Start, Finish Gates

The Start and Finish gates of the Can Tho Marathon - A Heritage Race will move to Song Hau Park Square, a beautiful sunrise viewing spot in the heart of Can Tho.

 

Song Hau Park is located on Song Hau street, Cai Khe ward, 1.1 km from Ninh Kieu Wharf. From here, runners competing in the Can Tho marathon, one of Vietnam's most professionally organized races, and visitors can walk across the Love Bridge, stroll along the charming river and check out the vibrant night market.

A convenient road connects Song Hau Park with the inner city, where runners can enjoy delicious dishes in the cuisine of Vietnam's Southwestern region as well as cosy and peaceful places to stay.

Registration for the Standard package will end in the next few days.

Runners should register directly at https://cantho.vietnamheritagemarathon.com/en/ to secure running tickets in the capital of the western region.

The new gates are moved from the previously set location at the area of the Hung Kings Temple.

The Can Tho Marathon - A Heritage Race represents an opportunity to discover the charming beauty of the western land in Vietnam's southern region through each running step. The marathon has joined the Age Group Ranking System of Abbott World Marathon Majors, counting from 2022.

The Heritage Race system, organized annually by DHA Vietnam, comprises the VPBank Hanoi Marathon in October, the Halong Bay Heritage Marathon in November and the Can Tho Marathon - A Heritage Race in December.
