ROWBOATS ADORN THE ATTIRE FOR THE CAN THO MARATHON - HERITAGE RACE

 

The iconic imagery of rowboats, characteristic of the rivers and waterways of the Mekong Delta, will appear on the pair of event T-shirts and Finisher T-shirts for the Can Tho International Heritage Marathon 2023.

These are the endearing and familiar features deeply rooted in the lives of the people in the Mekong Delta region that athletes will somewhat grasp during the upcoming competition in early December.

The event t-shirt, adorned in a fresh, vibrant blue, symbolizes the enthusiasm and exuberance of the 9,000 athletes participating in the race.

In contrast, the Finisher t-shirt exclusively for those completing the Full Marathon distance is a vivid red, signifying the aspiration to conquer the 42.195 km journey.

Both t-shirts bear symbols commemorating the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Can Tho City.

The Organizing Committee of the Can Tho International Heritage Marathon 2023 is finalizing all logistical preparations, race routes, medical facilities, etc., to ensure an absolutely safe competition and provide the best possible experience for all athletes.

The Can Tho Marathon - Heritage Race represents an opportunity to discover the charming beauty of the western land in Vietnam's southern region through each running step. The marathon has joined the Age Group Ranking System of Abbott World Marathon Majors, counting from 2022.
